Quick Synopsis:
Shan Wu Shuang is a single 33 year old workaholic. She is at a loss when it comes to love and is determined to find a perfect man that is compatible to her. Lu Ka Si is a 25 year old temp worker. He decides to help Shan Wu Shuang find that perfect match. When feelings begin to develop between both of them, will they be able to get pass their eight year gap?
My Thoughts:
Story Line:
I like story lines that do not follow the norm and tend to expose people of situations that could happen. In this case, an older woman falling in love with a younger man. Society tends to quickly judge and doom such a relationship because age is not just a number. Same goes for any relationship that is deemed to be unnatural. So when dramas like this air, I am always so attracted to the way the directors would address the situation in an entertaining yet slightly serious manner. My favorite scene that took place was when Lu Ka Si pointed out that to him eight should be viewed more as the symbol for infinity rather than a number that is keeping them a part. This made the drama have more value in my opinion. They did address things that can happen such as one person in the relationship having doubts, people gossiping, and of course parents viewpoints. I was expecting to get the happy ending of the couple's wedding day but that did not happen. A part of me is sad but I think it was a wise decision and makes their love story everlasting.
Cast:
I liked the entire cast. I have seen them in various dramas. I believe they are all wonderful actors and can play any role well. I was amazed that for the first time I noticed the wardrobes. I liked what many of them were wearing. The guys, especially Ethan, looked so dashing. The actresses also looked very fashionable to me.
Music:
Good music for the drama. Not really my taste though so I do not take notice of it or remember it for that matter. All I know is that while I was watching the drama it was nice to hear it.
Overall I would rate this drama with a 4/5.
