I am so disappointed that he didn't kiss her. That would have been perfect timing for them. They could have admitted that they are started to fall for each other. It would have also been better since it would have been before Se Ra's arrival. Now, we have to wait until he gets another chance and man's up to his feelings.
At least he is showing his jealous side though. I mean why else would he want to race Daniel. Daniel looks so much more younger and fit than him. It would have been an obvious lost. Yet he was able to keep up. The race was pretty much inconclusive since they both got a leg cramp. Too bad Lee Gun wasn't present when Daniel was hiding Kim Mi Yeong from the press. Daniel held her so that the press couldn't see her with him. Is he awesome or what?
Oh and then their second run with the press. This time they were after Kim Mi Yeong since they heard about her getting knocked up and married. Daniel screamed at the press and gave them treats. He did not hold back and let Kim Mi Yeong take refuge in his cafe. Again, isn't he just awesome?
Anyway, the couple is slowly making progress and then they somehow end up taking two steps back. They seemed to have a great date when they went to their parenting class, lunch, and he showed her his office. This is like officially introducing her to the staff as the CEO's wife. Until, the sight of Se Ra brings them both back to reality. Lee Gun was going to do the right thing and tell her everything until Kim Mi Yeong stepped up and introduced herself as the secretary yet again. She is so dumb. Lee Gun is even dumber for doing what she said. He even spent the entire night with Se Ra.
Lee Gun still cares about Se Ra but it is very obvious that he cares about Kim Mi Yeong. He left Se Ra because Kim Mi Yeong's mom ended up in the hospital. He was so worried that he just sent her a quick text and ran off. I find it so cute that he is calling Kim Mi Yeong's mother mom now. I know that married couples do call their in-laws mom and dad. The only thing is that in Lee Gun's situation they are pretty much in a fake marriage and he is not calling her mom to keep up the appearance. He sincerely sees her as a mom which is another reason he falls in love with Kim Mi Yeong and her family. That is just adorable.
Luckily, he was determined to tell her the next time he saw her which was in front of his house with Kim Mi Yeong at his side. He told Se Ra they were married. Se Ra freaks out and leaves. Lee Gun then chooses to go after her to explain the situation. When he returns home, he locks himself in his den and is all depressed. The following morning, he deliberately chose not to wear the suit that Kim Mi Yeong prepared for him and gives her the silent treatment. It does make sense for him to be hurt over Se Ra since they were in a relationship for six years, but couldn't he have explained it to Kim Mi Yeong. He knows that she puts everything on herself and in this case will be blaming herself for being the person that destroyed their relationship.
He did have to get over his emotions quickly since like I said, the press is after Kim Mi Yeong. They are spreading the rumor that Kim Mi Yeong threw herself to Lee Gun so that she could get pregnant and marry into their rich family. He is forced to go to her rescue when she is being attacked about the rumor. The attacker in this situation is now Lawyer Min. He is back! I knew they were going to have him appear again. He is still a jerk and tells all these rich people about her so that they can judge her. A-hole!
Lee Gun does make the situation better by telling the people the situation. He says the rumor of them getting married is in fact because of the baby. He goes on to explain that Kim Mi Yeong is not smart and is very ordinary. However, she is caring, sympathetic and loveable. What an extraordinary love confession. They leave the event and spend time alone in which Lee Gun has prepared a romantic event for only them. He takes her by what looks to be the Han River, turns on some music, they dance, and fireworks explode in the air. He apologizes for the events that occurred and tells her that he was not ready to go to her. Followed by a nice sweet kiss to the cheek. Perfection.
Sadly, too perfect for Kim Mi Yeong. We get a flashback of her explaining to Daniel that she is afraid. She does not want too expect to much from Lee Gun and end up believing that he would fall in love with her. If that happens, she will not be able to leave after the baby is born like they stated in their contract. How sad.
