At the moment between life and death, she is given a second chance to turn back the clock. The only catch is she has to give up something that is most precious to her. Can Hai Lin live this new life without Xi Wei?

My Thoughts:
Story Line: *contains spoilers*
This is quite an interesting plot. Hai Lin and Xi Wei had the makings of a perfect love story. Of course, something tragic happens and poof it's all gone. Hai Lin is then given a chance to take everything back and avoid such a tragic ending. 1. Choose to live life without the person you love most. 2. Choose death and join them in the afterlife. 3. Go back to the time when you met. Hai Lin goes with option 3. So the question now is, will they meet again and fall in love like they did in her previous timeline? This concept for the story was quite intriguing until they messed it all up! You would think it would end up with a nice happy ending in which they fall in love again and everything happens like you wish it did. Wrong, they keep trading something that they love most to ensure the other does not die. I would understand if they did that once but they overused it way too much making the story repetitive and dragging it way too long. My thinking is also if they gave something up then they should be allowed to be together without one dying or in the case of the ending trading 20 years of their life. That too me was just stupid. I hated the drama in the end and should have stopped watching it when Hai Lin was about to die. That should have been the obvious sign that it was not going the way I wanted it to go.

Cast:
My first impression of Wei Man was great. In the first episode, she plays her character well and showing how full of life she is. Then, she is completely dead inside when Hai Lin is living in her alternate timeline. Her scenes with Yao Yuan Hao are great since she is able to show no facial expression yet her eyes pretty much give off how Hai Lin is feeilng. Yao Yuan Hao can play a boy in love well. However, I don't think he is able to show Xi Wei's determination to succeed and live up to the Lu family name. As for Jenna Wang, who is playing the antagonist in the story, she makes it very hard for me to hate You Xi. No matter how much I want to hate her, I can't because she is suffering from lost love and not being able to live up to her mother's expectations of beating Hai Lin in everything. You Xi lives a pretty sad life. Now the person I can hate is Xiang Kai. Yang Zhen can really portray a person with a dark agenda. He pretty much has taken the essence of Xian Kai and showing just how much he is willing to do in order to get You Xi.

Music:
The music chosen could not be better. It is like an insider into how Hai Lin's feeling. The opening song is just beautiful, which is actually the title of the opening song. 'Mei Ling' by Dawen is a great song. The lyrics are amazing. It puts you in the mood of how Xi Wei feels about Hai Lin.

Overall I would rate this drama with a 1/5.
