Quick Synopsis:
The baseball team of Nikogaku has been suspended for half a year because of a fight that broke off during a game. The only remaining team members are made up of nothing but delinquents. They are always causing trouble and spending their time in the baseball club's locker room. Their dream is to play baseball again and going to Koshien, where the high school baseball championship will be held. Kawato-sensei is the new teacher that will do everything to help them fulfill their dreams. The principal however only hired Kawato so that he can use his past to get all of them kicked out of school.
My Thoughts:
Story Line:
Good drama. The baseball team has a very strong bond. No matter what happens between them they will protect their friendship. I also like that they portray some teachers here as people who would do all that they can for their students. Other teachers have given up on them and set labels on these so called delinquents.
Cast:
I like the cast. This group of actors are all really good. I have seen many of them in different dramas and movies and thought they were great. So to see many of them together here is awesome. My only problem with them is that some look way too old to be playing high school kids. Could they not find younger people to be playing these students?
Music:
OMG Greeen! They play the theme song to the show and could not be happier. Their music is very lively and mellow. I just love it.
Overall I would rate this drama with a 3/5.
