Quick Synopsis:
Four interns have just joined the Doctor Heli system. Kuroda, their mentor, hates young people and does not want them to ride on the helicopter unless they prove themselves to be competent doctors. As the interns gain their opportunity to be flight doctors, some rise above the challenge while others fail and another is not even given the chance. The internship still helps them all to gain the confidence and experience it takes to be a flight doctor.
My Thoughts:
Story Line:
Some of the cases in the drama were pretty interesting. It gave a wonderful insight into the lives of flight doctors. Dramas usually focus on ER doctors, surgeons, etc. This was a great change from the norm because you get to see the doctors in action on location rather than just inside a hospital. I learned a few things and thought the story line developed well. The characters all have different backgrounds and stories that you get so involved in their lives and hope for their success.
Cast:
I don't know much about doctors besides the fact that they can perform complicated procedures and save lives. This cast did look the part. I would believe that they can be doctors in real life. Now, they are not perfect since they are actors after all. There were some mannerisms that I do not believe a doctor would make like the way they hold the tools sometimes. Nevertheless, they were great playing their roles. My favorite actor is Tomohisa and based on other doctor shows I have seen, he did fit the M.O. of an intern doctor who is way into his job.
Music:
I really liked the theme song. I have never heard of Mr. Children before so I quickly became a fan after watching this show.
Overall I would rate this drama with a 3/5.
