New to the Asian scene. Then read this post to know some tips on where to watch your next Asian drama or movie.

Please take note of the fact that many fansubbing groups are trying their best to get their subs off any streaming sites like youtube, veoh, CR, dailymotion, etc. In order to keep fansubbing alive please respect their wishes as best you can by not uploading their work to any of those sites. I know that for some people it is more convenient to just watch it online rather than downloading it themselves because at times I too am grateful for those that do not listen to the rules. However, the fansub groups are working hard and taking the free time they have to provide us the shows that we otherwise would not understand and should abide by their rules. So this leads me to some tips into watching dramas:

For people who watch online

I have posted the links to some sites that have the video available or are currently in the process of uploading. If for some reason the link is dead or not working please inform me so that I can try my best to find a new one for you.
When doing searches for dramas make sure to try different key words. Some names that uploaders use can be the actual titles which are written in their original format, the English name of the drama, the initials of the title, some form of abbreviation of the title, and in rare cases some of them even label the group that subbed the series.
If you are not good at searching there are some sites that host the links of dramas/movies that people find. These sites have everything organized so that you can find what you are looking for quickly. The only two sites I know of are mysoju and dramaclick.
If you still cannot find what you are looking for there is a site called aznv.tv. In order to watch the dramas/movies, you need to sign up (it is free) and download winamp player (also free). Keep in mind this site only streams the drama through winamp and the quality is not always great unless you upgrade your account.

For people who can download

I have provided the link to some of the subbing groups that I know of. All you have to do is click that and browse their site to look for their releases. There is some where you have to join their forums in order to download.
Check out FansubWiki to find out if any group has or will release subtitles for a drama/movie you would like to see. That site contains the listing of many fansub groups that do subtitles not only in English but also in Spanish, French, German, and many other languages.
One thing to take into consideration is that many groups provide their stuff through torrents. If the file is a torrent you need to download a program called vuze which can help you open the file. Please I encourage as many people as I can to do this because we are always in need of more people to seed from. A great place to get the torrents of the fansubbers is at d-addicts.
When dealing with softsubs you need to download the raw video which at times is provided by the subbing group or can be found in d-addicts or veoh. If you do not know the difference between softsubs and hardsubs this is my best understanding of them: softsubs - external file that contains the subtitles and can play along with your video if you have the right program that allows you to play them (the program I use is gomplayer), hardsubs – the subtitles are directly encoded into the video. A raw is considered to be a video file of the drama/movie that was recorded or ripped off of the DVD. When you have the video and the file that contains the subtitles, make sure that they share the same name and are located in the same folder so that the player can automatically detect it for you. If not, just drag the file into the player so that it can open it and play it with the video.

Synopsis:
Bian Dang is the most beloved actor until his fans turned against him when he decided to get married. On his wedding day, his bride to be never showed up. Surrounded by fans and paparazzi, Bian Dang needed an escape plan. The plan was conducted by Xiao Qing, his makeup artist. Together they passed through the paparazzi. Wanting answers, he finds out that his fiance had run off to an island and hopes that he will soon follow her and leave the showbiz. Now, Bian Dang has to decide to run off and live happily ever after or continue his life living under the lime light. Unsure of what to do, Xiao Qing introduced him to a place called "The Escape Pod."

My thoughts: (1 /5)
I did not like this drama at all. I think I had placed too much hope on it being good so I let myself down. I believe the timeline of the story took way to long to develop. The scenes also did not capture much of my attention which is why it took me about three months for me to get to the final episode.

I was watching Lifetime today and this movie came on and noticed that it was associated with CJ Entertainment. I have always found this movie so interesting and consider it the best movie of 2007. It was interesting how they made everyday noise sound like the world's soundtrack. The thing I love most is when they fused Lyla's classical performance with Louis' band's performance. The story line is unrealistic in my opinion but it was a great plot. The only downside for me was the ending. The ending seems so abrupt to me and I wanted to know a little bit more of what happen after. As for the Asian lovers, Tablo and Goo Hye Sun have a small cameo in this movie as some of the kids under Wizards care.

Synopsis:

This leads her to want to find out who and where her parents are. The only lead she has is the picture of her with her mother and another of a man who is holding her as a child. When she arrives to the city she notices the man in the picture on television. That man is none other than the President of Korea! Bong-soon is then determined to get into the Blue House and meet her potential father.

My thoughts: (4/5)
My favorite parts are when Bong-ki is talking gibberish when really he is not. The drama was pretty good. At first I did not expect much to come of it but I was surprised. The story line seemed to have progressed pretty quickly but overall the pace was good.

Loved the drama! It is like a Korean Cinderella story. This drama turns me into such a girl because of all the cute little moments between all of them. I also enjoyed the song that played when they were both being stubborn and not admitting how they feel.

His only employment is as a handyman and he can fix anything that needs to be fixed as long as it means getting paid for it. Every unfortunate time he meets up with Anna, though, Cheol-su gets injured and has no income coming his way. Their hatred and annoyance for on another has made them be each other's worst enemy. Cheol-su soon gains the upper hand when he sees Anna in the hospital suffering from a bad case of amnesia after she had fallen overboard from her yacht. In order to take his revenge and gain the possible income he would have received if not for her, Cheol-su tells her that she is Sang-shil, his lover. His plan is to have her clean up after his three young nephews and maintain his house clean for at least a month to regain the money he had lost. What will life be like for these two enemies? What will Billy do when he discovers what has happened to his wife?

My thoughts: (4/5)
Most stories that are about someone having amnesia revolve around an act of kindness and love. In this case, it is an act of revenge that makes the story so intriguing to watch. For Cheol-su, who is a very kind man, to take such measures of revenge is unexpected yet exciting.

Jae-bok and Joong-a however begin to fall for each other only to find out that there is a possibility that they are brother and sister. All Jae-bok knows is that his sister was put up for adoption by his mother. He however refuses to accept any possibility of it being true.

I love Hyun Bin so that is my only reason for watching it. As for the drama, it was just not that appealing and the story was… nice? I don’t know how to describe my thoughts for it but give it a try if you want.

My thoughts: (5/5)
The drama has a different feel than any of the others I have seen. The characters are very different from one another and their stories are touching yet for some it is heartbreaking. The storyline goes back and forth as it shows different perspectives of the couples. The main thing that attracted me to the drama was the music playing in the background. The insert songs all fit well into the scences and pulls you in to their story. I just hope that they can make more dramas like this one because all the elements that went into this drama fit in perfect harmony.

Their conductor, Maestro Kang, who happens to share the same name as the trumpet player, thinks otherwise. Kang Mae always makes harsh comments about their playing but never points out the root of the problem. Through this, Gun-woo is discovered to be a musical genius and Kang Mae not wanting Gun-woo to overshadow him sticks with the orchestra and helps them brush up on their skills. Many obstacles get in their way, the main one being Kang Mae, but still they struggle to keep the orchestra alive so that their dream of having a great concert can come true.

My thoughts: (5/5)
I am not a big fan of classical music but this pretty much converted me to one. I have never taken notice of the small details in making music and this has taught me quite a bit. The drama is filled with wonderful music that does seem to have life with in it. So if you are a classical music fan or curious about it give this drama a shot, you just might love it.

Synopsis:
Four interns have just joined the Doctor Heli system. Kuroda, their mentor, hates young people and does not want them to ride on the helicopter unless they prove themselves to be competent doctors. The internship still helps them all to gain the confidence and expericance it takes to be a flight doctor.

My thoughts: (3/5)
Some of the cases in the drama were pretty interesting. It is a wonderful thing to have flight doctors because at critical moments they can be what is needed to save a person's life. This drama gave a wonderful insight of just what happens when you need to be rushed to a hospital but are miles away.

Synopsis:
District’s No.8 Middle School is on it way to being demolished. This fact has made the teachers lose interest in their jobs and their students. Kusaka has always loved his school and strongly believes that one day it will change. Takasugi, Yoshida, and Irie, new transfer students to No.8, have moved to the school for that reason. They want to change the school by terminating those scrap teachers. Sugi, who is considered a scrap teacher, was the first on their list. Sugi, a new teacher of No.8, has always had a strong passion for teaching but this lack of interest from everyone begins to way down on him. His passion for teaching however gets revived by Kusaka. Together they team up to try and change the school by making the best out of the days they have left. On the other hand, Takasugi, Yoshida, and Irie are going to change the school by getting rid of unwanted teachers.

My thoughts: (3/5)
The drama has a good concept to it. I mean seriously, what can you do when you know that a school is not going to be there anymore? My favorite character of the drama is Takasugi. Takasugi is smart and not very sociable which makes him unpopular with girls and other classmates. He obviously wants to be liked but looks cute when he tries to play it off as if he doesn't care.

Synopsis:
Based on a true story.
Yamaguchi Hayato is hard working and a family man. He has a wife named Aya and a daughter named Myuu. Unexpectedly Hayato begins to loose the strength in his legs and hands. His doctor informs him that he is diagnosed with a rare and incurable disease. The disease is known as Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) which is a numbness that occurs in the tips of both hands and feet causing sensory malfunction and motor disturbance. Hayato lost all hope and was ready to give up but because of Myuu, Hayato became determined to get better and learn to live with the disease.

My thoughts: (5/5)
A child's greatest ability is the fact that they tend to be very optimistic and caring. The reasoning behind Myuu wanting to give her Papa her legs shows that she really loves her dad. Myuu was willing to do anything just so that her dad can get better and return home. Aya is such a strong person to be able to keep everything together. Hayato is such a great father, he only wanted the best for his family.

The drama was Bloody. It mainly tells the story of their lives and does not revolve around solving cases. My favorite one is Ageha, he is so adorable. He has always viewed everyone as family and is very protective of Makoto.

Synopsis:
A virus known as Bloody-X was released in Russia. The virus killed many people within hours of being infected. I will begin by saying: I LOVE MIURA HARUMA!!!
The drama is freaking amazing! This is the best action drama that I have ever seen! The suspense was eating me up inside. Some things that I had predicted were completely wrong! It definitely keeps you guessing by making you unsure of who can be trusted. It is also great because you never know what will happen next.

Based on the nonfiction novel by the same name.
Kyoko and her husband Naoki have been trying to have children but have been unsuccessful. In order to complete their family they decide to adopt. Instead of adopting, they become foster parents. Their first foster child is Yosuke, who is in the system because his mother is too ill to take care of him. Later on they also foster Sachi because Yosuke wanted a sister. Sachi's mother died when she was young and her father was not fit to take care of her. This is their story about the love of family between foster parents and their foster children.

My thoughts: (5/5)
This drama goes to show that although they are not a family legally, it does not mean that they cannot be called family. A family is made up of love and not just blood ties. I cried many times -especially near the end. It also makes me want to read the book -that is how beautiful the story was- the only problem is that I do not know how to read kanji.

Synopsis:
The baseball team of Nikogaku has been suspended for half a year because of a fight that broke off during a game. The only remaining team members are made up of nothing but delinquents. Good drama. The baseball team has a very strong bond. No matter what happens between them they will protect their friendship.

I will be honest. At first, I was never interested in watching anything that involved yaoi stuff. The boyXboy relationship was not something I wanted to see but after watching a few movies I have to admit that I am now a fan! This movie is super adorable because you can tell that Giichi really loves Takumi. I just love how he expresses his feeling towards him - you just cannot help fall for him!

Cha Tae-hyeon's performance was amazing. The acting was so great and the movie is just so touching and heart warming. I could not help but cry at the end. I tried so hard to hold back my tears as Ji-in kept repeating the same phrase over and over but I failed. Definitely a great movie!

To know that this was directed by Jay Chou is truly shocking. The man definately has talent! The movie is so touching and the acting felt so real. I was suprised when the mystery behind Xiao Yu was solved and I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. The ending however ends in a happy note so I am glad for that.

I absolutely love this movie. I was suprised to see that Park Myeong-su was the voice of the baby but I believe he did an amazing job. The movie is so funny and baby Mason is adorable!!!

This movie has many gruesome scenes. The story line was pretty good and made me feel bad for Boom. Boom wanted to provide the best for her child and ended up loosing everything.

This drama was so cool. I love the way Yamapi acts -he is super ADORABLE!!! My favorite scenes with him are when he does his "Nobuta power chunyuu" and "Kon". I know he is meant to be annoying but I can't help it if he looks so cute doing it. Anyway back to the drama. This drama was a great representation of friendship. These three classmates were able to discover things that they did not know before. Thus, bringing them that much closer together.

The ending was very unexpected and to me still a bit unclear as how things happened. The story line is very interesting though. Also just a little f.y.i., I am saddened by the fact that Arpichet Kittikorncharoen, who is nicknamed Big, died on December 2007. Big was a member of the Thai boy band D2B with Beam and Dan. May he rest in peace and know that he will be deeply missed.

Synopsis:
This movie contains four stories within it.
Story 1: Loneliness
Pin is home alone and in need of someone to talk to. Suddenly she gets a weird text message from a complete stranger. Wanting to carry on a conversation with someone, she replies back and the two get to know each other. The man who sent her the text then requests a photo. Things begin to get weird when the picture the stranger sent of himself was the same one she had sent him. His reason being that he too was in the picture, he was right there next to her. Who exactly is this man and what does he want with Pin?

Story 2: Deathly Charm
Pink and her friends keep bulling one of their classmates. All of it just seems like fun and games to them until the person they bullied decides to get revenge. His form of revenge is cursing everyone with a deathly charm. The deathly charm is a picture of someone who has died with their eyes open. This sort of charm no one can escape. As soon as you see this image death is inevitable. When one of the teenagers dies in a horrible way, they all begin to fear for their own lives.

Story 3: The Middle Man
Chin, Ter, Puak, and Ae go out on a camping trip in the jungle. At night Ter decides to tell them a ghost story. The story is basically a warning that if you are ever in the jungle do not sleep at the rim because you will be visited by a ghost. Since Chin was the one that was in that spot, he was afraid of being haunted. The only safe place to sleep was at the middle of the tent. In order to get everyone to sleep, Ae tells them that if he were to die, he will haunt the one that sleeps in the middle. The next day they go rafting and the boat they are in turns over. Ae is the only one that goes missing and they all assume he has died. The question now is who will end up being the middle man?

Story 4: Last Flight
Pim is a flight attendant and her next flight assignment is serving Princess Sophia. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Pim will be the only attendant on the single passenger flight. Princess Sophia however does not like Pim due to the fact that Pim is her husband's mistress. Soon after they landed, Princess Sophia is pronounced dead in her hotel room. The Royal Household request to send her body back and later do an investigation as to what happened on the flight that caused her death. Now, Pim is the only flight attendant that has to take care of the Princess' body. The only thing is that the Princess appears to be haunting Pim.

My thoughts: (3/5)
The stories were all very interesting and a little creepy. My favorite one is The Middle Man and my least favorite is The Deathly Charm. The Middle Man kept its suspense for a good while and the ending to that one was shocking. The Deathly Charm was good but I was not happy with the special effects. Also, keep in mind that all the stories are connected. I know it is not obvious but if you pay close attention to the details you will see that some of the people are mentioned in the other stories as well.

So, Fah was made to plead guilty and sentenced to five years in prison, making Fon hate the Hi-So as well as believe there to be no justice. As for Itt, he decides to leave the country as soon as Nit's funeral is over. A year later, Mungon, Itt's best friend, discovers his whereabouts and tells him to come back. Not ready to return to his normal life, Itt hides his identity and becomes a chef at Fon's restaurant without knowing that Fon is the sister of the man that supposedly caused the accident that killed Nit. When they find out each other's identity, will they put the past behind them or seek revenge? Will the truth ever be revealed?

My thoughts: (4/5)
This is a very nice lakorn. The only part I did not like was the monk having a sort of supernatural ability. Having him do what he did seems a little too out there and irrelevant. I understand what they did and how they made it fit into the situation but in my opinion that could have been done differently. Other than that, the lakorn has a very sad ending which I have to admit made me cry. The ending is not be what we all might have had expected (except that I did expect it to happen to one character) or what we had wanted. However, it does fit with the idea of eternal love -which is shown beautifully in this lakorn.

OMG this drama has it all! The scenes that mainly got to me where the ones with Wee and his dad. Those were really intense which shows that Ken Theeradej -my now fav thai actor- can act. Ann is also really wonderful. Playing this type of character makes her seem like a natural, it's perfect.

Jung-ho confronts Yeong-min and notices he has a blood stained shirt. He grows suspicious of him and decides to call the cell phone of the customer who turns out to be Yeong-min. Jung-ho beats the man up and tries to take him away but is caught by the cops. Both men are arrested and Yeong-min confesses to having killed all of Jung-ho's girls. Mi-jin, however, is said to still be alive. Unfortunately without having the proper evidence, Yeong-min will be released within twelve hours. Jung-ho is now on a chase through time to find Mi-jin's whereabouts before Yeong-min gets released.

The movie keeps you on the edge of your seat. Yeong-min is a real psycho and seeing Jung-ho desperately searching is at times heart breaking. What makes it even worse is that Mi-jin is a single mother. She wanted to quit her job but somehow ends up in the middle of this tragedy.

This has got to be my favorite Thai drama. I loved the story line so much. This drama also has some pretty funny scenes. My favorite is what Pat eats while pregnant. Also, I find it super adorable how Chen acts after finding out Napat is going to be the mother of his baby.

I discovered Will Pan's music a few weeks ago and fell in love. To see him in a drama is awesome. As for the drama itself, it is kind of cute. The one thing that gets to me sometimes is seeing Rainie doing all those silly faces and things over and over. Rainie is a good actress and the silliness really throws me off. Also, the little twist that occurred between Xiao Huan and Si Le was unexpected and disappointing for me. Other than that, it is a nice drama to watch.

Synopsis:
Wu Di means 'invincible' and that is exactly how Wu Di sees himself. At a young age, he learned that he should not trust people easily. Being the heir to his father's cooking company, he grew up believing that he is inferior to everyone around him. He is also not very understanding of others feeling, especially those of his girlfriend, Zu An. His life soon changes after having a run in with a girl named Shan Bao. Shan Bao is a young girl dreaming of living happily ever after with the love of her life. Her only flaws are that she is known to be flat chested and super strong. She does have a boyfriend named Wei Qing, who is a chef. Wei Qing does not acknowledge having any relationship with Shan Bao. He does everything he possibly can to avoid her. How will these four people end up?

My thoughts: (4/5)
I loved how they tied in the first two episodes with the drama Fated to Love You. It makes it a sort of spin off. The drama is pretty good. It has some funny moments and some majorly embarrassing ones.

My thoughts: (3/5)
Kurosagi was awesome as a drama, but as a movie I was not impressed. The movie was good but did not live up to the expectation that I had. I understand that movies have a certain limit and a director cannot be able to show everything they had in mind but it felt like not much took place. I was expecting the movie to be about the battle between Kurosagi and Mikimoto not Ishigaki. There were also not many scenes with Maki and the scenes that were with her felt unnecessary. The thing that i did miss the most was Yamapi saying "Bang!" all the time. I was impressed with the connection to Julius Caesar and how they made parallel to Katsuragi. So overall, I had to say that the movie was pretty okay, not amazing but not bad either.

The drama was so good. Yamapai is super hot! I find it quite interesting when the plot involves the main character becoming what he hates most. Though, his idea on revenge makes it sort of hard to choose on wheter his method of justice is righteous or just another crime.

His main focus is to do better in Math because if he does not do better then society will look down on him. This is their story on how their lives are in Singapore.

My thoughts: (3/5)
I liked this film because I had no idea how society in Singapore really is so this movie gave me a glimpse into their world. The boys are a symbol of the extremes in Singapore. They are satires to how things are especially when referring to the EM3 class. Children should not be classified based on what they cannot do. The main scene that just got me was Kok Pin's after he got his test results. Now that is a major extreme and just makes you realize how much one should not try and push their kids too far.

Through all this, Mew and Tong begin to fall in love but how will everyone else handle it? especially the girls that are in love with them?

My rating: (5/5)
This film was shown beautifully. You can just see love blossoming between those two! I was shocked when I found out that the film was promoted as a regular romance about straight couples in love when in reality it is a gay romance between Mew and Tong. When I saw the trailer, I could see that it was misleading but in my opinion, necessary. If people knew what the film was about, not many would watch it. As for me, if I like the plot line then I will watch it and this film has a good plot! So, that is why I highly recommend (^__^) Oh and plus, the music is awesome!!!

This drama felt like an emotional roller coaster. Many parts were amusing while some were heartbreaking. The part that really got me though was the fate of the baby that Xin Yi is carring. All in all, the drama was great!

This movie was pretty good and I was happy with the fact that it was not a typical love story. It seems to be more about trying to figure out what love is all about. The twist at the end was really surprising and at the same time sad. However, that shows how to handle love in a mature fashion.

So, with his help she is able to solve the case and later they get together to solve other mysterious cases that come their way.

My thoughts: (4/5)
The drama was pretty funny. My favorite parts are always when Rion bullies poor Suou. Also, I was happy with the way it was broken down so as to keep the mystery going. I wish it was a full series though but there are only six cases that they solve.

This film was pretty good. I was not that into it at first but it soon picks up after that. The storyline was very nice and sad too. Yato and Kaoru have so much love for each other even though they are not blood related. Yato did all that he could to get what he wanted and provide for Kaoru and ... well, watch the film if you want to know what happens. The ending is super sad! I hated how their lives ended up but I guess it was what they where destined for.

Kaoru is a struggling singer who happens to be suffering from Xeroderma pigmentosum, also known as XP. Kaoru somehow slammed into him and introduce herself for the first time, as well as mentioning her favorite things and the fact that she does not have a boyfriend. That was the first night that destiny stepped in and crossed their paths but where will that path take them to next?

This movie was pretty cool. Kaoru is such a courageous girl. She did not let the disease tie her down or even limit her abilities. She took the initiative and tried to make herself known and be heard. I love the ending so much because it is so moving. I felt so many different emotion when i saw it that I could not make myself not love it.

Iljimae is like Korea's Robin Hood. Iljimae is a very smart person who is cautious about the things he does. His tactics are all well planned ...and some are not... but whatever the case may be he is able to get out of major trouble. Lee Jun Ki played the role so well. I love him! He is a great Iljimae. I was sad though when the drama ended and had hoped that the director would add on more episodes but we have to respect his wishes.

Having three people be the possible father of your child without you even knowing is mind blowing. It is very hard to imagine such a story like that happening in modern life making this plot quite interesting enough to have caught my attention immediately. Eugene makes a great mom and the three dads are wonderful. Of course, two of them were a bit immature but learned to grow up since they now had a child to look after. The ending was also great because the person who I had been hoping for turned out to be the father.

Together, they were able to design a search engine named "Crook" which sparked the interest of a major company called Digital Capital. The president of Digital Capital tries to get them to join his company but gets turned down. In order to get his hands on Crook he decides to steal it from them. Now, it’s up to the five of them to get it back.

My thoughts: (2/5)
I am a big internet user but having movies that deal with website creators did not spark much of an interest in me. Though there was little action that made it somewhat okay, it was not enough for me to say it was a good movie.

I thought this drama was amazing! Miki is such a courageous young girl who does everything she possibly can to overcome any obstacle put in her way. It took me awhile though to get over the fact that to me Mirai looked more like a 12 year old then 14 but still she did a great job. The acting was wonderful especially Haruma's crying scenes. Usually most actors are not believable when they cry but Haruma is one of the few that can pull it off.

Five friends on a trip to Thailand decide to make ghost stories a reality. None of them have ever had an encounter with a ghost so they have all agreed to try different methods in order to see a ghost for themselves. They get their methods from a book called "The Ten Encounters" which talks about a Thai belief of ten different ways that one can see ghost. The first two methods where getting an eye transplant and attempting suicide while pregnant. Based on the fact that some of them have heard of true stories about those two encounters being real they decide to try the rest. There is only one catch and that is that once they start they can't stop until all methods have been done.

My thoughts: (2/5)
I never knew that there were different ways that one can see a ghost. The thing I liked most about the film is the moral of don't mess with what you don't know. But unfortunately that was not enough. The movie is not all that great and it seemed a bit pointless. I also believe that the acting could have been way better.

Synopsis:
Joey has been feeling neglected by her boyfriend, Sam. She is overcome by so much sadness that she attempts suicide by overdosing on pills. However, she is saved by having her stomach pumped. Soon after, she discovers that she is expecting a child and tries to get in contact with Sam, who keeps blowing her off. Thus, leaving Joey to embark on a new life with her baby. As months pass, she realized that she is been stalked by a ghost of a woman. That woman turns out to be Sam's deceased wife, Yuen Chi-Kei. The reason for following her is because she wants to be reincarnated as Joey's baby.

My thoughts: (2/5)
The thing I hate most about sequels is when they change the cast as well as the story. I would be okay if they sort of tied it back to the original somehow by having a cast member of the original appear or something. This movie did not do so but I liked the story line anyway. The main thing I enjoyed watching was their point of view on the idea of reincarnation and how it happens.

Synopsis:
Mun has been blind since she was a child and gets an eye transplant. Unfortunately, it was not what she expected. She begins to realize that she sees figures that others cannot. Those figures are dead spirits as well as spirits that are soon to die. In order to find out why this is happening, she talks to her doctor’s nephew, Dr.Wah. Dr. Wah does not believe her at first but he cares so much for her that he tries to help her out. As they begin to investigate, Mun discovers that she is seeing through the eyes of the original owner, Ling. Even the face she sees in the mirror is Ling and not her. So together they travel to Thailand to find out more about Ling and the things she sees.

My thoughts: (4/5)
This film kept its mystery going for a good while and the way the story developed was great. It’s kind of creepy to discover that the face you see in the mirror is not your own. Also, that you can see ghost and sort of predict death moments before it happens. The Pang Brothers did a great job. I just wonder how the US version is because in my opinion most films made in the US are too Hollywood for me and never live up to the original.

In between that tragedy, Lee San meets two children around his same age but of low status that become his long time best friends. One of them is named Dae-soo, who grows up to be one of the guards protecting Lee San when he is the Crown Prince and later when he is King. The other is named Song-yeon, who has captured the King's heart and later becomes his royal concubine. They are the ones that do everything possible to protect and serve Lee San so that he can become the king his father wanted him to be.

My thoughts: (5/5)
I can't believe I was able to finish watching this drama. That biggest mystery is who the mastermind of the attempted plots to take Lee San's life is. That suspense was beginning to get to me and when it was finally revealed I was so shocked. The drama's storyline seems to develop kind of slowly but it was all worth it. It shows how intelligent Lee San is and also how much the people need a king like him.

So who will Riiko choose? How long will she be able to hide the fact that Night is a robot?

My thoughts: (4/5)
This drama was so cute and entertaining to see. Riiko is so lovable, Night is truly the absolute boyfriend and Soshi is the ideal boyfriend. It was fun to watch Riiko unable to control Night and the things he says when he is in public. Watching those two together makes you wish that Night can magically become like Pinocchio and become a real man. Unfortunately, it is not that kind of a drama.

Suzuran High School is known to be a school for many delinquent teenagers. All the students there all seem to be skilled in only one thing - fighting. All the classes have their own boss and some have formed alliances with others to show off their power. The only thing is Suzuran has yet to be controlled by one student. Everyone's goal is to become to ruler of the school and it is no different for the new transfer student Genji. Genji begins to gather followers and slowly begins to challenge all those that stand in his way of becoming boss. Once he gets enough people on his side he will take on Serizawa, who is the main student close enough to take over the school. Serizawa has many followers one of them being Genji's old friend from junior high. Serizawa has been to jail a few times and is a very well known fighter who has yet to be defeated. Does Genji have what it takes to take on Serizawa's crew and rule the school or will Serizawa become one step closer to their goal and become the boss?

My thoughts: (4/5)
The action was great and some parts were exaggerated by special effects but all in all it was cool. I have seen Yamada Takayuki in a drama as well as a movie where he plays a nice guy who does not get into much trouble but seeing him play a bad boy who lives to fight was surprising for me. Takayuki played the role really well and I believe having those roles would suit him best. There was also some scenes that would make me think that the movie was going to turn into a romance type film but it never did. Thus making me feel more like I was truly watching an action packed film. The moral of the story was also fantastic and how they ended it by proving that point was perfect. I say Crows Zero is worth watching.

The young man turns out to be a guy named Hiro, who Mika had previously seen at school. Both begin to fall deeply in love but life brings forth many obstacles that slowly begin to break them apart. Will their love survive what life brings them or will it all remain in the past?

My thoughts: (5/5)
I loved this film so much, it is must see movie! The part I loved most was how they met and how their love grew from there. Hiro is the perfect guy that I bet many girls wish they had as a boyfriend. He is a very responsible person and does his best to protect what he loves most. Mika is an everyday average girl who wants to find love and was able to find that love through Hiro. Both of them made a great couple and look wonderful together. The acting was not all that great in some parts but the story line was beautiful. I was so close to tears near the end and although I expected what was to happen I still had a bit of hope that it might not. Love begins in so many different ways but how you choose to express that love is what makes it feel more real. The love that Hiro and Mika share is that kind of love, love that is real, love that will last forever.

Synopsis:
Based on the "Affair of the four abandoned children of Sugamo" that happened in Tokyo in 1988.
A mother of four, two boys and two girls, move to a different apartment. The children have different fathers and it is never revealed on who their fathers really are but they are not in the children's lives. The mother, Keiko, only lets people think that she has one boy, Akira, and no other children. The three others are kept in the house and are not allowed to go outside. When they moved into the home the two small children, Yuki and Shigeru, where inside suitcases and the second oldest, Kyoko, had to spend the day at the subway station until the oldest son goes to pick her up. None of the children go to school and home school themselves most of the time because the mother is not really present. She spends most of her time out drinking or working. One day she decided to spend a few days away from home. When she came home she told her son she had a man that she has fallen in love with but that he knows nothing of their existence. The mother than leaves and practically abandons the children. She does not return home, not even for Christmas. How will those children survive on their own?

My thoughts: (4/5)
I saw the movie a few days ago and it made me think how in the world can people especially parents do such a thing to their own children! The shocking part is that the movie is based on an actual event. I read of what happened to the children and it was way more intense then the movie. I have no idea what to think when I hear of events like that or worse. All I think of is "that is horrible how can they do that" or "things like that can happen in real life?" When hearing stories of such atrocities it also shows how much people take their life for granted. Everyone who is not in those types of situations should be considered very lucky that their parents take care of them and are there for them. These children were not so lucky. It also leads me to think of how there are so many people that wish they had children cannot have them. People who do not want children and do not care for children are the main ones that do. If someone does not want to be a parent, there is always the option of sending their child to an adoption agency so that they can find parents that will give the child the kind of life they deserve. Yea well just had to get that out there. Anyway, great movie and highly recommend watching it.

Since her resignation from Kurogin and having her new school close down, Yankumi became a teacher to a class of international students. However, not being able to teach her students properly because of the language barrier, Yankumi is in need of another job. The head teacher Sawatari, who has previously worked with Yamaguchi-sensei, seeks her help and wants to hire her to work at Akadou. She must once again hide her identity from everyone. This is my favorite season of Gokusen because it introduced me to Miura Haruma. He is so effin hot! But no need to get into that. The drama is much more exciting for this season. There are many troubles brought onto their class but to be able to have come together as one made it the most challenging.

How long will she be able keep her identity a secret? What will happen if her secrets is discovered?

My thoughts: (3/5)
It is interesting to see what sort of trouble Yankumi's class will get themselves into. Although it was not as funny as the first season this season still did fairly well.

This drama is so funny! A yakuza heir becomes a teacher rather then the next boss. It is hard to imagine a real gangster becoming a teacher at any school but based on the drama I would love it if Yankumi could be my teacher. She is so fun and adorable and she is really devoted to her students.

I loved this drama so much. At first I doubted that I would get the ending that I wanted but was happy with the result. This drama is so cute and it goes to show that if you truly love someone then no one can change how you feel.

It was such a great movie! Of course, the plot was pretty obvious from the start but that applies to so many other movies as well. Yeong-woo is such a devoted father and his relationship with Se-hui is absolutely beautiful to see. He loves her so much even though he is not her biological father.

After watching that movie I was like WHAT?! The movie seemed pretty cool and I was getting into it until it was near the end. That’s where I got lost and didn’t feel like I had a grasp of what Ki-duk wanted people to get out of his movie. If anyone can explain what the point of having those last few minutes were that would be amazing!

Synopsis:
Tae-suk, who seems to be mute, would post up menus in people's homes. He would later return that night to see which house still had the menu up. The reason for that would be so that he can break in to the home which is presumed to empty. He would not do it to steal or anything but just sleep there. He would also be kind enough to do unattended chores that the owners leave behind like laundry. At times he would also fix any broken electronics or appliances that he found. One of the houses he breaks into though was not empty. The owner, Sun-hwa, was at home and she too doesn't talk. He was going to leave to find some other place to stay but he saw that the woman was abused by her husband, Min-gyu, when he arrived home. So, he attacked the husband and ran off with the woman. As they keep moving on and breaking into other homes a relationship between them begins to develop. Will they be able to go through life as they are now? or Will the woman's husband soon claim what is his?

My thoughts: (5/5)
I loved that movie and was shocked that I did. The movie has very little dialogue; it was as if watching a silent film. It was very interesting and the way it was made seemed so artistic and well ...... beautiful. Kim Ki-duk is pretty awesome. I say this is a must see.

Synopsis:
Based on a manga of the same name
Twenty year old college student Ban Shogo lives in a small town and works part time at an Italian restaurant. His dream is to one day open a restaurant of his own with his fiancée Takahashi Eri. He is very cocky and believes he is this big grand chef but not until he begins working at a restaurant in the city of Tokyo does he realize that he is nothing but an amateur who still has lots to learn. Determined to fulfill his dream Ban works really hard to survive the days working in a city restaurant where everything moves at a fast pace. Will Ban be able to accomplish his dream? Or will he realize that he just doesn't have what it takes to make it big?

My thoughts: (3/5)
I finished watching the drama two days ago and I got to say it was pretty okay. It was not the typical type of drama that I usually watch but it was good. This drama shows how powerful a dream can be and the will to never give up.
